The winter season is upon us; long distance head racing, weekday evening sessions are finished until the light returns and our warm winter kit has been ordered. But before we batten down the hatches we are opening our doors to all and anyone on the 15th of October. The Day will start with at bit of scratch crew racing for our graduating Learn to Rowers/ Club members at 8:30am. From about 11:30am we will take it down a bit and offer rowing to anyone who would like to try the sport for the first time. Last time it was BBQ which refreshed us but this time I think hot soup and cake will be the order of the day!

Even if you just want to come down to say hi or to see us in action, head down to Sleepless Inch anytime until about 14:00/ 15:00.

Learn to Row Courses

Our current Learn to Row Course is now full. But don’t worry, we are planning more courses in future and we would ask anyone who is interested in the next course to get in touch and we will add you to the waiting list for the next one.

Our courses start with an initial session in National Rowing Centre in Glasgow, and then rowing from our Perth site at Sleepless Inch in one/ two crews of 4; one rowing on Wednesday Evenings and, one on Saturday Mornings.
